My Name Is Keith Film Opening - First Edit...

The weeks plan

Our plan for this week is to finish our film opening by filming the last few frames in our film and then editing the whole thing.

On wednesdsay we plan to film what is left and then film any reshoots we think we might need. Then on thursday and friday we are going to edit our footage. As we have the whole of friday to edit we think we will have enough time to finish it to a high standard.

Editing Log

We are about half way through the filming process and have yet to start editing, we are going to put the clips together and watch them through first, compare them with the animatic and then discuss what we need to do in the editing. We will then discuss possible re-shoots if anything is wrong. We already know that we will use continuity editing as the baseline as we don't want to jumble or confuse the story as this isn't the effect we want.

Shooting Log

We have started to film our piece and it is starting to shape up well, we have filmed about half of our scenes and we are going too watch through them to see if changes need to be made and compare it with the animatic to see how we can edit it. Later next week we are going to film the rest of our film and to reshoot anything that is necessary.
